There is a lot of confusion about toxicity.

We know that we are surrounded by toxins and this fact is reported repeatedly in the news. But it is difficult to get a good sense of how much attention we should pay to it, and whether we are really in harm’s way.

The time has come to start making sense of all the discusion of toxic chemicals and how they are affecting our health by starting to answer some questions including:

• What do all the news reports mean?
• Are there dangers, or are we safe?
• How do we know?!
• Is there something more we can be doing to be proactive about protecting ourselves?

We do know that we are surrounded by toxic chemicals—hundreds if not thousands of them—and they do accumulate in our bodies. To stop them from doing harm, we need to know where they are, how to avoid them, and how to help our bodies efficiently clear them away.

This workshop is aimed at drawing needed attention to this topic and giving simple strategies for reducing toxicity in your environment and in your body, so that you can reduce your risk of toxicity contributing to disease.
