  • Massage Therapy (2200 hours) — CCMH Foothills College

Massage therapy is more than just simple stress relief. While that is an obvious use it also offers a wide range of applications that have concrete benefits for a healthy lifestyle. Massage can be helpful with mobility difficulties, pain relief and posture issues among others. I am enthusiastic and energetic about my work and I feel fortunate in being able to contribute to the health of others.

There are a number of things that really excite me about massage therapy. The biggest is the opportunity to work with people on a daily basis and the privilege of assisting in the health and stress management of those I work with. I really enjoy developing individual treatment plans that can benefit patients without the use of more invasive methods.

When I’m not working I enjoy trying new recipes and perfecting old ones. Spending time outdoors is another way I relieve my own stress, whether I’m exercising or relaxing with a good book.
